Continuing education at the Chair of Manufacturing Technology

We are delighted that Henrik Zieroth has successfully completed his Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Congratulations on this achievement!

The Six Sigma Green Belt not only imparts methods for process optimization but also offers significant added value, particularly for research: Statistical design of experiments (DoE), structured problem-solving strategies, and data-driven analysis tools enable scientific questions to be addressed more efficiently and effectively. Green Belts are thus able to reduce experimental uncertainties, quantify relationships, and systematically improve processes.

The Institute offers all research staff the opportunity to participate in this training. We look forward to welcoming more colleagues who complete this qualification. This will allow us to make our research projects even more efficient in the future – with minimal experimental and resource expenditure and a clear methodological structure.
