VDI-awarded thesis at LFT

The LFT is delighted to announce that Jannis Prager has been awarded the VDI e.V. Prize for an outstanding thesis in the Mechanical Engineering program for his student work.

As part of his work in the Tailor Alloyed Blanks (TAB) research area, he analyzed the mechanical properties of alloy-modified aluminum semi-finished products and the influence of targeted post-treatments on the resulting local property profiles and the formability of element-adapted blanks.
