Six Sigma certification

With a Six Sigma project on "Improvement of microscopic surface texture shaping in a combined forming process", Mr. Manuel Reck was certified with the Green Belt. The aim of the project was the reduction of inhomogeneous texture patterns in the micro coining of functional surfaces. Under the guidance of Prof. Hinnerk Hagenah and Tamara Reuter, the advanced training course "Methodical Analyses for Quality Improvement of Manufacturing Processes for PhD Students" laid the foundations of Six Sigma methods for the successful implementation of projects. This course will also be offered to students in the summer term of 2024, where they will have the opportunity to carry out their own certification project.
