Scientific Writing Workshop with Elsevier

On January 18, 2024, the Institute of Manufacturing Technology hosted the Scientific Writing Workshop with Elsevier. As part of exciting lectures, the scientific staff from various institutes in the Department of Mechanical Engineering were introduced to the basics of scientific writing and publishing. Among the speakers were the publishing employee Anja Saatweber, the editor Timo Bazuin (among others Journal of Materials Processing Technology) as well as the two professors of the Institute of Manufacturing Technology, Prof. Merklein and Prof. Hagenah (Editors-in-Chief and Managing Editor for Production Engineering Research and Development). During the shared breaks, the newly acquired knowledge could be discussed and expanded across disciplines.
