Test bench for film HTV

At the Institute of Manufacturing Technology, the new test bench for film HTV can be used with immediate effect. Among other things, there is a tool for a bulge test with a diameter of 50mm. The test stand will be installed in one of the institutes numerous universal testing machines. Pressures of up to 400 bar can be achieved in a wide speed range. Strain rate control with ARAMIS can also be implemented. This new tool can be used to characterize semi-finished products for applications in the areas of bipolar plates, electronics production and packaging. Based on this work, it is then possible to investigate the respective processes using simulation.
