When manufacturing hybrid components, additive structures are built up on sheet metal base bodies in order to combine the advantages of additive manufacturing and those of forming technology. A challenge that comes with this is the heat that is introduced into the sheet metal during the additive process. The influence of the heat sources laser radiation and heating platform on the structure of the substrate sheet are examined in the context of the contribution using laser-based ultrasonic measurement.
