Institute tour as part of the Production Engineering lecture

This semester, interested students once again took advantage of the opportunity to learn more about the Institute of Manufacturing Technology during a guided tour. In addition to demonstrations of material characterization on the Gleeble and laser beam cutting, information was provided on metrology and ongoing projects in joining technology. Furthermore, members of the Institute's staff Marion Vogel (M. Sc.), Jonas Batz, Arnold Harms (M. Sc.), Jan Henning Risse (M.Sc.), Henrik Zieroth (M. Sc.) und Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Dipl.-Inf. Hinnerk Hagenah were available to answer questions and engage in discussions. It was a successful event that clearly demonstrated the diverse range of topics within and related to manufacturing technology to the participants and hopefully sparked their interest in learning more.
