ZwickRoell and the Institute of Manufacturing Technology implement optical strain rate control

Recently, representatives from ZwickRoell together with Dr. Harald Schmid, a former employee, visited the Institute of Manufacturing Technology in order to put the latest innovation into operation - optical strain rate control. This control makes it possible to record material parameters at a constant true strain rate and thus improve the predictive quality of simulations. The project shows the institut's good connection between science and industry and the often and welcome development from employee to project partner in exciting research projects.
