Prof. Merklein appointed to the Board of Trustees of FOSTA

The Research Association for Steel Application (FOSTA) is a non-profit and legally independent research association within the steel sector. As a joint organization, it represents the interests of the steel industry in research work in the field of applied research, together with users of steel and its various product forms. The FOSTA Board of Trustees is comprised of representatives from across the steel value chain (steel manufacturers, processors and end users, and academia) to ensure the highest level of quality in research proposals. Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Marion Merklein will strengthen the association's Board of Trustees with her proven expertise in assessing applications for the IGF program (Industrial Collaborative Research).
