Braga was worth the trip

This year's International Conference on Advanced Joining Processes was the 3rd in the series and was held in Braga from October 19 to 20. The focus of the conference is on joining technology and a large number of talks presented the latest findings in the fields of mechanical joining as well as welding and bonding. The LFT was represented with three presentations from the field of mechanical joining, which focused on the versatility of joining processes. The conference was rounded off by an enjoyable evening event in view of the pilgrimage church Bom Jesus do Monte with good food and traditional Fado music.
