This article presents results from an investigation into the microstructure evolution of Al-Mg-Si-Mn alloys, focusing on the influence of silicon content on mechanical properties, deformation mechanisms, and precipitation development during high-temperature tensile tests. Tensile tests were performed at 200, 250, 300, and 350 °C with strain rates of 0.1, 1, and 10%/s, respectively, and revealed significant differences in mechanical behavior depending on the silicon content. The microstructure was characterized using electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDX), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to analyze deformation mechanisms, precipitation development, and texture formation.
