6-Sigma Greenbelt certificate

Dr.-Ing. Clara-Maria Kuball received her 6-Sigma Greenbelt certificate from the European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. today. To do this, she first had to attended the lecture to acquire the theoretical basics. This lecture is jointly offered by the Institute of Manufacturing Metrology, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen -Nuremberg (speaker: Tamara Reuter) and Institute of Manufacturing Technology (Speaker: Prof. Hinnerk Hagenah). In order to successfully complete the course, a practical project applying what was learned had to be documented and submitted. Dr.-Ing. Kuball has improved the manufacturing process for semi-hollow punch rivets by significantly improving the dimensional accuracy of the rivet after implementing the measures developed and significantly reducing the reject rate.
